Central began in 2000 and blossomed in 2001 after purchase by its current owner, who embraced technology as the future of hotel booking companies. As a local hotel operator, the owner combined his knowledge of the area and his drive for positive visitor service with the online advances which were available. A. C. Central's President is a 1990 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Hospitality Management. After working with the Hyatt Hotel Corporation and opening the Walt Disney World Grand Floridian Hotel, he returned to the Atlantic City area.
